LAMP Developer

Position

You will be involved in several interesting projects where you will participate in planning, researching, designing, coding, testing and deploying innovative and dynamic database-driven web-based applications. This is a unique opportunity for the qualified individual to help build and grow with the company.

Skills Required

• PHP (3+ years)
• MySQL (2+ years)
• HTML/JavaScript/CSS (2+years)
• Previous work in LAMP environment
• XML (working knowledge)
• Experience with e-commerce and large database and community management systems development, implementation and optimization a major plus
• Familiar with OO and MVC frameworks.

Abilities

• Work comfortably both independently and collaboratively with team members
• Take ownership of assignments and see them through to completion
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, proven ability to test work thoroughly and meet deadlines for successful completion
• Efficiently manage multiple projects, be able to shift priorities
• Be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, including occasional overtime
• Must have a positive, proactive attitude, enjoy working with others and be able to work and thrive in a small and dynamic business environment.

Bonus Points

• Linux and/or OSX administration.
• Ability to write bash, perl, or python, scripts & cron jobs.
• Web administration - configure apache, virtual hosts, etc.
• Database administration - master slave scenarios.
• Email administration (cyrus/postfix)
