Henry O'Connell - Millenniata CEO, Chairman, Founder, Millenniata
Henry O'Connell has more than two decades of corporate leadership and marketing experience. Mr. O'Connell recently served in the capacity of Group President for IDEX Corporation from 2003-2005, President/CEO for Dynex Technologies from 2005-2006 and President/CEO for Moxtek from 2006-2008. Mr. O'Connell was responsible for providing strategic leadership, which included corporate goals, objectives, strategies, plans and policies within the various organizations along with meeting revenue and profit targets. Mr. O'Connell has served on a number of boards of early stage technology companies in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Barry Lunt, PhD - BYU Professor, Founder, Millenniata
Dr. Barry Lunt has taught information technology at Brigham Young University since 1993. Prior to his work in academics he worked for seven years as a design engineer for IBM in Tucson AZ. Dr. Lunt is the author of "Electronic Physical Design" (Pearson Prentice Hall, 2004) and has produced more than 28 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of electronic physical design, engineering education, and optical data storage. He has four U.S. patents all related to a new measurement technology.
Matthew R. Linford, PhD - BYU Professor, Founder, Millenniata
Dr. Matthew R. Linford began working as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Brigham Young University in 2000. His research at BYU has included a number of topics related to surface and materials synthesis, patterning and analysis, including new materials for data storage, silicon surface modification with monolayer's and multilayer's, surface characterization with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry, spectroscopic ellipsometry, and wetting, chemometrics analysis of ToF-SIMS data using methods such as principal components analysis, development of diamond as a new material for chromatography and solid phase extraction, and vapor phase deposition of silanes. He has been awarded 13 U.S. Patents.
Douglas Hansen, PhD - CSO, Founder, Millenniata
Dr. Douglas Hansen most recently held the position of Chief Technology Officer for Moxtek from 1993 to 2008. In that capacity he was responsible for directing all outside business concerns and Operations for the optics division, including marketing, sales, pricing, business strategy, and partner relationships. Dr. Hansen was also responsible for the development and prosecution of the division's IP strategy leading to a total of 17 issued US patents, numerous corresponding international patents in Europe, China, Korea and Taiwan.
